I have blue hair today.
This morning it was blonde.
A week or so ago it had pink highlights.
Next week, I’ll visit my hairdresser
and it will be shorter.
It changes.
And so do I.
Change is an everyday occurrence.
I change according to the environment
I find myself in.
One minute, I might be seeking
an answer to a question.
The next, I might hold the answer
for someone else.
At other times,
I find myself in a group
where we all hold the answer,
and we feel safe
in this shared understanding.
Each moment offers something to notice.
Sometimes small.
It might be as simple as noticing
a deep exhalation
that shifts a tightness
long held.
There is beauty in that.
